This week’s episode is: An audience of two.

Marcel does his best to hide it but he is anxious to be reunited with his parents. They actually do technically make it into Milan late that day, but it is the outskirts and Milan is a large city. They stop at an inn. The innkeeper and his people know nothing about a circus being in town. Perrine and her mother discuss the next stage of the journey – going over the alps. Perrine is anxious to get to her grandfather’s place. Marcel cannot sleep that night and he runs off to find his parents. He is still gone the next day. Perrine and her mother wait for him, but he does not come back. They figure he ran off to find his parents and so prepare to leave, though they do wish they could have said goodbye. As they leave, Marcel comes running back. He insists on taking them to see his parents. The parents are very grateful to Perrine and her mother. They want to thank the two for looking out for their scamp of a son. Unfortunately, they usually do the show at night. They can’t do a whole show, but Marcel’s parents with the help of the ring master put on a fine show with the father’s horses and the mother doing acrobatic riding on them. It is now time to say goodbye to Marcel. They want to see each other again, but Perrine doesn’t think they will.

This week’s episode is: The Magical Lip is a Premonition for Love.

Chocolate and Vanilla arrive at school just in time only to find no one in their classroom. For good reason – the class is putting on the play Romeo and Juliet the next day and the two girls forgot they were supposed to come to school early to practice. A girl named Manabe is the director, and she is very passionate about the play. Perhaps a little to much. Chocolate likes Manabe and how she says what she thinks, just like Chocolate does. Vanilla is a maid and is very nervous about the one line she has. Chocolate is a guard, which Duke thinks is hilarious. At home, Vanilla spends her time cleaning the house. Chocolate is distracted. When Robin comes, he gives Vanilla a present for being so helpful – the mail order catalog for the magical world. Vanilla shares, but neither girl has enough hearts to get very much yet. There is one item, though, that Chocolate spots – the lipstick of truth that gets people to say what they truly are thinking and feeling. Chocolate first tests it out on Vanilla. Yep, it works, all right. At school the two girls find a bit of a crisis. The girl who plays Juliet is sick and can’t come and it is opening night. Chocolate talks Manabe into taking the role, she does know all the lines. Manabe doesn’t really want to though because she has a crush on the guy playing Romeo. She also puts on the lipstick of truth right before the huge balcony scene where Romeo confesses his love to Juliet. At first the lipstick works well, then it work too well rather recking the mood of the play – then it stops working before Manabe has finished getting her feelings out. She freezes and the play stops. Manabe runs away. Chocolate overhears Manabe say that if cherry blossoms were falling like when they first met she could confess her feelings. The Romeo guy arrives right on cue and Chocolate and Vanilla end up using their magic to make cherry blossoms appear. Manabe confesses her feelings. All’s well that ends well then, except that Vanilla was able to use her part to get hearts while Chocolate didn’t collect any^^;
