Today’s episode is: A Rice Ball in a Fruits Basket.
Tohru is is anxious to learn more about Kyo and Yuki, that she checks out a gardening book, a book on martial arts, and a cook book. That is when she gets a call from her Grandfather, telling her that the remodeling of the house is done. Tohru packs and leaves the Sohmas, though her presence is still felt – Sigure is particularly obnoxious about it. So Tohru starts her new life with Grandfather, Aunt, Uncle, and cousin. Things don’t go entirely smoothly, especially when Aunty finds out that Tohru has been living with men. Grandfather tells Tohru that she is welcome there, but Aunt and Uncle aren’t particularly nice sometimes. He encourages Tohru to go where she will be happiest. This is just in time for Yuki and Kyo to arrive and “kidnap” Tohru back. Tohru goes back to the Sohmas, which is what she wants.
